These guidelines apply to all users participating in the Community section. They operate in addition to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
These Community Guidelines apply to all users who access, submit, post, list, or otherwise participate in the Community section of Art in the Middle — Open Calls, Competitions, Grants & Residencies, the Opportunities Board, and related features. They operate in addition to our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and GDPR Compliance Policy.
All listings must be truthful, accurate and not misleading. Key information — deadlines, fees, eligibility requirements and remuneration — must be clearly stated. Expired or discontinued opportunities must be removed promptly. Misrepresentation of any kind may result in removal of the listing and suspension of your account.
We expect all members to engage respectfully in every part of the community. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech or personal attacks of any kind will result in immediate removal of content and may lead to permanent suspension.
Only list opportunities, artworks or content that you own or have the right to share. Do not reproduce others' work without permission. All submissions imply that you have the necessary rights to post the content.
The Opportunities Board is not a space for irrelevant promotions, repetitive listings or commercial spam. Listings must be genuine creative opportunities relevant to the Gulf art community.
Any entry fees or participation costs must be clearly disclosed upfront. Hidden charges are not permitted. We recommend that opportunities which charge entry fees provide a clear rationale for those fees.
Art in the Middle reserves the right to remove any listing or content that violates these guidelines or our Terms & Conditions, without notice. Repeated violations will result in account suspension.
If you see a listing or piece of content that you believe violates these guidelines, please report it to info@artinthemiddle.com. We review all reports and aim to respond within two working days.
We may update these guidelines from time to time. The latest version will always be posted at this URL. Continued use of community features after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised guidelines.
